Does It Have To Be Goodbye?

“Does it have to be goodbye,

As we part and go our ways?

Can't we stay a little longer,

Enjoy the sun's warm rays?

Our time together was fleeting,

But the memories will remain,

And though we must say farewell,

Our bond won't be in vain.

Perhaps we'll meet again,

In a place beyond this life.

So let us not say farewell,

But instead, a simple "until"…”
